NACA Nationals ReCap

Congratulations to the Boys Varsity basketball team on a great season
and a fourth place finish at the NACA National Invitational Tournament
held in Dayton, TN. The team won their first match-up against a team
from the Atlanta area, but then lost their second to a tough team from
Nashville, TN. The last day of the tournament they lost in a contest
for third place against a team from Indianapolis, IN.

A highlight of the week was senior Tyler Gall winning the dunking
contest by dunking over a kneeling DCA lion mascot. The crowd went
wild! Congratulations also to seniors Nathanael Crum, Tyler Gall and
Philip Ribbens for making the Division III All Tournament Team. Philip
was also named Defensive MVP of the tournament. Although the team
didn’t place as high as they had hoped it was a good experience for
everyone. The Lord uses the ups and downs of life to grow us and use us
individually as well as a group. It has been an awesome season and
we’ve much to be thankful for, especially the prayers and support of
the Dayspring family! Thank you!
